Illustrated with color and B & W reproductions of original art by Browne in addition to photographs from the archives of the Browne family. Browne was nearly the first man to have climbed Mt. McKinley, failing to reach the summit by only 100 feet. Browne did many of the dioramas in the North American big game exhibits at the American Museum of Natural History in New York.
